“Housing that far exceeds our expectations, everything is perfect! The house is large and beautiful (very beautiful decoration and simple architecture but so well designed). The view is amazing and so inspiring. The owner knows how to be discreet while at the same time providing everything we needed (detergent, sweets for children, a very well-equipped kitchen, a bath with which to relax ...) When we arrived a welcoming fire was on and a nice snack platter we ordered at the last minute on the table. We woke to beautiful views of rolling hills and were sad to leave.”— Andrew

“We only stayed for 1 night, but would definitely come back. If you are looking for something that is quite and peaceful, this place is perfect. The house is old but very well maintained and large - lots of rooms and space. I highly recommend ordering an evening meal from the owners- our dinner was amazing! It is on the farm so a bit of a drive to town, but a standout relative to other accommodation options in the area. Overall well deserved 5 stars.”— Marek

“One of the best airbnb accommodation we have ever stayed in. A beautiful character filled homestead with views across the stunning green valley which go for miles. Having a coffee on the porch looking out watching and listening to the birds was the perfect way to start the day. The homestead was beautifully decorated, beds were really comfortable and shower was good. The kitchen had all we needed to cook up a dinner each evening. There are no shops nearby so come prepared but that is the beauty of the place. Thank you Kirsten for sharing your piece of paradise. we are so glad we got to experience it..”— John and Christine

We appreciated the thoughtful favours upon our arrival which included hot water bottles, a gifted plant from directly from the farm and farm fresh eggs. “We went to stay in Tui Ridge with 3 mums and 5 kids. It was crazy but so much fun 🤩 Kirsten had shown us around in farm first day which made our 7 years old to notice about how farm works and it was really eye opening experience for them as a central Aucklander 😂 House was beautiful and warm, surrounded by beautiful nature. We saw Keruru, king fishers, swallows etc. I should have followed instruction by Kirsten and make sure don’t go through mountain side to get to the place (gravel road for 10 Kim), if you follow instructions by Kirsten, you only need to drive on gravel road for 400m. We had so much fun 😆 it is quite far from anything else so I would make sure to bring heaps of food or order through Kirsten. We ordered platter and it was amazing. “Hi Kirsten, we absolutely loved EVERYTHING about Tui Ridge.the setting was divine in itself, so green and lush and scenic. I left the curtains open to wake up to the view. The furniture was comfy, the eclectic decor was delightful. Loved the wooden towel holder in the bathroom. Kitchen fantastic. The only thing I did not like at all was......that we had to leave to continue our journey. Tui Ridge just felt like a grand place to simply wallow in the atmosphere and enjoy the peace and quiet.
